Chat bonuses are separate from completed viewing rounds. The bot must recognize your linked Twitch or Kick account as watching an eligible community stream; chatting in your own channel does not qualify. The community sets the reward, message minimum and time window. Defaults are 10 points for 3 messages within 5 minutes. After the first message, consecutive repeated text and messages of 3 characters or fewer do not increase the counter. The bonus is checked when the window ends. Missing account links, activity data or bot connectivity can prevent a bonus; video playback alone does not prove eligibility. Ask a community administrator to check its settings.
The monthly Main role uses this calendar month’s viewing points plus bonuses, with the community’s selected point system. Required points = minimum points + daily increase × day of month; day 1 already includes one increase. A minimum of 0 disables automatic monthly role changes. Protection days postpone removal of an existing role, not assignment. After those days, members below the threshold can lose the role on the next successful bot check. The bot needs Manage Roles and must sit above the selected role. Monthly role eligibility and recent-activity eligibility are alternative community modes, not two simultaneous requirements. This role is separate from the five premium ranking roles.

Download historical help (ZIP)Choose your community’s live role in the dashboard. The bot assigns it to members detected as eligible live streamers; community role filters can affect selection. The live role must be below the bot’s role and cannot be an integration-managed role or @everyone. The bot needs Manage Roles permission. Existing roles may be retained temporarily when live data is incomplete. A missing notification channel alone does not prevent role assignment.
Use /rank for your community rank or /globalrank for your global rank in Discord. The bot calculates the level from the points used by that command: 52 points correspond to level 1, 205 to level 2 and 5103 to level 10. Point-history pages are not level displays. A level is different from a community ranking role.
Minimum whole points for each level, using the bot’s level calculation. Level 0 starts at 0 points. The bot’s next-level estimate can differ by one point at exact boundaries.

Ranking roles require an eligible premium community. Open your community in the dashboard and choose Premium ranking roles. Select five different roles in rank order. The ranking bot must be installed, have Manage Roles permission and sit above all five roles. Do not use integration-managed roles or @everyone. Saved settings apply on its next scheduled run. Contact LurkerTV support if premium access is missing.
CommunitiesUse slash commands in a server where LurkerTV is installed. Discord permissions and command availability may vary. This guide does not run commands or send messages.
/liveShows the community streams currently detected as live.
/lurklinkShows the community viewer link.
/lurkstatusChecks your reported LurkerTV activity; it does not verify video playback.
/lurkedReports LurkerTV activity associated with your Twitch stream, not Twitch’s viewer count.
/lurktimeShows stored lurk time for you or the selected member.
/rankShows the community rank for you or the selected member.
/globalrankShows your global LurkerTV rank.
/lurktop10Shows the community top ten for a recent period, this month or all time.
/addtwitchShows Twitch account-linking instructions. You can also connect through Account & access.
/addkickShows Kick account-linking instructions. You can also connect through Account & access.
/bothealthChecks bot configuration and explains channel or role problems. Requires administrator permissions.
/versionShows the running bot version.
After a connection interruption, the page reads its data again. The viewer automatically retries failed rounds. A persistent rendering error can trigger a reload after 90 seconds when you are online. A sleeping device, frozen tabs or blocked popups may still need your attention.
Return to stream asks the browser to focus the existing stream window without restarting the round. Stop automatic viewer stops rotation and closes that window. The stop is remembered across reloads in this tab when session storage is available. Choose Automatic one-by-one to start again with a fresh round.
Open Discord invite on a community card or page when it is available. This uses the community's stored invitation; you decide whether to join in Discord. For a missing or expired invite, contact that community's administrators.
Search by community name or choose a platform. Platform filters use the last reported community counts. Results cover the public directory; the count refers to the current page. Search and platform stay in the URL when you reload or change pages. Clear search keeps the selected platform; choose All platforms to remove that filter.
The directory shows eligible communities with recent data. Hidden, banned or outdated entries are excluded. Some communities also require Discord membership. A missing community does not automatically mean its bot is offline.
Discover communitiesSign in with your usual Discord account. Existing LurkerTV accounts are reused; new users can register during sign-in. Restricted community streams also require server membership. The dashboard requires ownership or administrator permissions. These permissions are checked again when data is requested.
Sign in with DiscordOne-by-one starts automatically. Allow popups for Twitch and Kick; YouTube plays in the player. You can stop or select streams manually at any time.
One-by-one rechecks streams and your access before each round. It avoids your linked channels and favors streams with fewer existing LurkerTV viewers. Featured streams and eligible shared rotation slots take priority. Check the player status for points and activity availability.
Sign in and check the automatic player's points status. When enabled, completed rounds use your community balance and cooldown. Skipped rounds earn nothing. A completed claim can recover after reloading; unfinished viewing time cannot.

Open Your community dashboard and choose a community you own or administer. You can edit rotation, platforms, channels, roles, live messages and bonus settings. If settings changed elsewhere, reload before saving again; your unsaved edits will be discarded.
Your channel must be included by the community and have a recent live check. Community roles, selected platforms and account visibility settings can affect eligibility. Ask a community administrator to review the configuration. Missing data does not prove that a creator is offline.
Use Account & access to connect Twitch or Kick, register YouTube and choose visibility or your active platform. To replace a link, use its Disconnect action, review the confirmation and reconnect the intended account. Disconnecting preserves Discord sign-in, points and other platform links. If Twitch belongs to another LurkerTV account, follow the separate ownership confirmation; accounts and points are not merged. Supporters can also choose their visibility and featured community.
The community page shows today and the previous 29 days using the database calendar. My points history covers records updated in the last 180 days and lists communities with at least 300 stored points in that window. These views show the daily ledger without bonuses; they are not lifetime totals or monthly rankings. Administrators can inspect separate rankings including bonuses. Missing entries and unavailable data are shown separately.
When activity reporting is available, signed-in playback sends regular presence updates to the shared system. The /lurkstatus command depends on fresh activity and bot processing. A missing status does not prove that the video is not playing. Check the player for sign-in or connection notices.
Twitch distinguishes video viewers from chat participants. Its guidance says muted or background video can count while it keeps playing. LurkerTV cannot verify platform counting for your session.
